Aditya Raguram is a Whitehead Fellow and Principal Investigator at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research. His research focuses on the study and manipulation of cell-derived bioparticles to enable next-generation macromolecular delivery modalities. As a graduate student with Prof. David R. Liu at Harvard University and the Broad Institute, he developed new technologies for precision genome editing and protein delivery, including engineered virus-like particles (eVLPs). Raguram has earned several distinctions for his research, including the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, Harold M. Weintraub Graduate Student Award, MIT Technology Review's Innovators Under 35, and the NIH Director's Early Independence Award.
